The Beginning

I have stumbled across quite the diamond in the rough: a duplex that has been left in slightly dilapidated condition by it's previous owner and tenants - whoever they were. Now this home is being lovingly remodeled by someone who may be the coolest landlord ever.



Welcome to 1621 and 1619 NW 15th st., Oklahoma City, OK. These first glimpses of the units are unpolished. They are the begining of an exciting journey of renewal for this house that I plan on making into a home.







The entry way into 1619. This is the unit I will be renting:



Living room. It will have new paint and wood floors:











You don't. Paint. Over. Wallpaper.




Bedroom:









Hallway to the bathroom. The wall you see on the right, which is also against the kitchen, will be knocked out:





Bathroom. Everything will be replaced, including a clawfoot tub:



Kitchen. The appliances will be replaced, as well as the flooring. It'll be black and white checkered:
